Transportation was a recent theme of study in our classrooms. Children learned about ground, water, and air transportation. Art projects incorporated math concepts as children created vehicles from shapes and created a countdown rocket. An airport dramatic play area, complete with a ticketing counter and airplane was a favorite of the children.
